The primary data was collected from 450 rice-farming households in three provinces: Hung Yen, Nghe An and Dong Thap. Based on Theory of Planed Behavior, Exploratory Factor Analysis, and linear regression model, the findings reveals 4 factors that positively affected the participation in agricultural insurance of the rice-producing households in the future: Attitude toward AI, risk perception, availability of agricultural insurance providers, and supportive government policies. By contrast, the factor “subjective norms” was found to negatively influence farmers’ intention. Based on these results, the research promotes several policy recommendations to promote rice-farming households’ participation: (i) Strengthening communication programs for awareness-raising to improve households’ positive attitudes toward AI and enhance their understanding of agricultural risks and risk management mechanisms; (ii) Developing appropriate AI policies and diversified AI products tailored to farmers’ needs and different areas; (iii) Expanding training, capacity-building and guiding programs to help rice households have better understanding, proactively access, and effectively utilize AI as a risk management tool.
Bui Thi Viet Anh Nguyen Phuong Le Le Thi Thanh Thuy Bản quyền (c) 2026 Tạp chí Khoa học và Công nghệ Trường Đại học Hùng Vương https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-12-30 2025-12-30 11 4 11 20 10.59775/1859-3968.367 GREEN GROWTH IN VIETNAM: CURRENT SITUATION AND SOLUTIONS https://www.jst.hvu.edu.vn/index.php/HVUJST/article/view/359
In the context of increasing climate change impacts and resource depletion, green growth has become a key development orientation for Vietnam, aiming to sustain economic growth while ensuring environmental protection. This paper analyzes the policy framework and the current implementation of green growth in Vietnam, with a focus on the industrial sector and energy transition, which play a crucial role in economic growth but are also major sources of greenhouse gas emissions. The study employs qualitative research methods combined with descriptive statistics, drawing on secondary data from international organizations and domestic regulatory agencies, and examines selected practical models such as eco-industrial parks and cleaner production initiatives. The findings indicate that, despite notable progress in renewable energy development and green industrial practices, Vietnam’s growth model remains heavily dependent on fossil fuels, characterized by high emission intensity and a significant gap between policy objectives and implementation outcomes. Based on these findings, the paper proposes a set of integrated solutions aimed at strengthening the institutional framework, promoting technological innovation, and accelerating the transition toward a green growth model that is consistent with Vietnam’s development conditions.
Dam Thi Hien Ngo Thuy Quynh Bản quyền (c) 2026 Tạp chí Khoa học và Công nghệ Trường Đại học Hùng Vương https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-12-30 2025-12-30 11 4 21 31 10.59775/1859-3968.359 A QUANTITATIVE MODEL FOR EVALUATING THE RESPONSIVENESS OF HIGH-QUALITY HUMAN RESOURCES TO PROVINCIAL PLANNING REQUIREMENTS: EVIDENCE FROM BAC NINH PROVINCE https://www.jst.hvu.edu.vn/index.php/HVUJST/article/view/351
This study proposes a quantitative model to measure the degree to which high-quality human resources meet the requirements of provincial socio-economic development planning. Using a narrative literature review, the study explores the historical evolution, organizational structure, leadership style, and human resource development. Findings showed that, firstly, the university’s multilayered governance combines statutory bodies with internal coordination systems (Kyoto-style Provost system and Strategic Coordination Council). Secondly, sustaining the Kyodai-style governance requires balancing departmental autonomy with strategic integration, while safeguarding academic freedom and faculty participation in decision-making. Thirdly, emerging risks include increased external influence in the Management Policy Council, raising concerns about reduced academic autonomy of the university and its academics. Lessons for implementing autonomy in Vietnamese universities include creating mediating structures between university councils and academic faculties; clarifying roles of university councils and other mangement units to prevent the overlapping functions; approaching institutional autonomy beyond financial self-sufficiency; developing institutional research capacity among staff and data analysis of internal efficacy.
Lai Thu Ha Nguyen Thi Lan Ngan Nguyen Phuong Mai Le Thi Nhung Le Hong Viet Bản quyền (c) 2026 Tạp chí Khoa học và Công nghệ Trường Đại học Hùng Vương https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-12-30 2025-12-30 11 4 52 59 10.59775/1859-3968.373 TEACHING MULTIPLICATION OF FRACTIONS TO PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS https://www.jst.hvu.edu.vn/index.php/HVUJST/article/view/332
Fraction multiplication is a core topic in primary mathematics education, yet it poses significant difficulties, especially in Grade 4 when students encounter this operation for the first time. In classroom practice, fraction multiplication is often introduced as a ready-made rule or through geometric models, while the essential connections between fraction multiplication and previously learned operations on natural numbers are not systematically clarified, which may lead to conceptual discontinuities and rote learning. Moreover, many primary school teachers experience difficulties in explaining the meaning of fraction multiplication and in constructing instructional procedures that align with students’ prior knowledge. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate and propose an instructional approach to teaching fraction multiplication based on the development of the fraction concept and operations on natural numbers, with the aim of supporting teachers in organizing this content in a coherent and theoretically grounded manner. Let be two fractions whose numerators and denominators are natural numbers, where b and d are non-zero. This article proposes a procedure for constructing the instructional steps for teaching the multiplication of the fraction by the fraction to 4th-grade students. Moreover, starting from the formula for the multiplication of two fractions, we establish an extended formula for the area of a rectangle when the lengths of its sides are fractional, instead of treating this result as an accepted fact, as is the case in many current primary mathematics textbooks.
Nguyen Tien Manh Pham Thanh Tam Bản quyền (c) 2026 Tạp chí Khoa học và Công nghệ Trường Đại học Hùng Vương https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-12-30 2025-12-30 11 4 60 67 10.59775/1859-3968.332 DESIGNING COLLABORATIVE LEARNING ACTIVITIES FOR PRIMARY EDUCATION STUDENTS IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION https://www.jst.hvu.edu.vn/index.php/HVUJST/article/view/335
Digital transformation in education is driving significant changes in primary teacher training, particularly in the modernization of teaching methods to promote learner engagement and collaboration. Utilizing a systematic theoretical review, the study synthesizes classical moral development theories (Kohlberg, Rest, Gilligan) with contemporary ethical approaches, including artificial intelligence ethics, digital ethics, and digital citizenship competence. The analysis reveals that the digital environment presents significant challenges, such as the erosion of moral sensitivity, the phenomenon of “moral disengagement,” and systemic risks arising from algorithmic bias. However, the digital era simultaneously offers opportunities to personalize moral education through artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), and online spaces for virtuous practice. The primary contribution of this research is the proposal of a conceptual model for “Digital citizen moral development”, which integrates four dimensions: moral judgment, digital virtue, systemic ethics, and digital well-being. The article concludes that higher education must shift from a control-oriented mindset toward fostering student autonomy and “cyber-wisdom”. These findings suggest critical directions for restructuring curricula and establishing digital ethical frameworks within contemporary higher education institutions.
Tran Dinh Chien Bản quyền (c) 2026 Tạp chí Khoa học và Công nghệ Trường Đại học Hùng Vương https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-12-30 2025-12-30 11 4 79 88 10.59775/1859-3968.356 STUDY ON THE EFFECTS OF STATIC MAGNETIC FIELD POLARITY ON GERMINATION DYNAMICS, BIOMASS ACCUMULATION, AND QUALITY ATTRIBUTES OF LEGUME SPROUTS https://www.jst.hvu.edu.vn/index.php/HVUJST/article/view/350
The application of chemical growth regulators in sprout production has raised increasing concerns related to food safety and sustainability, prompting interest in alternative physical approaches. This study investigated the effects of a static magnetic field with an intensity of 150 mT and defined polarity on germination dynamics, productivity traits, and resource-use efficiency of mung bean, black bean, and adzuki bean sprouts. Seeds were exposed to north or south magnetic pole orientations during germination under controlled sprouting conditions. Germination behavior was evaluated using germination percentage, germination index, mean germination time, and time to 50% germination. Productivity was assessed through morphological traits, biomass accumulation, yield efficiency, and biochemical composition, while derived indices were used to evaluate growth allocation, water-use efficiency, and uniformity. Static magnetic field exposure accelerated early germination, increased germination synchrony, and reduced mean germination time and T50 without affecting final germination percentage. Magnetic treatments significantly enhanced hypocotyl and radicle elongation, fresh and dry biomass, fresh yield ratio, total soluble solids, and selected biochemical attributes. Derived indices indicated improved biomass conversion efficiency, higher fresh biomass production per unit water input, and reduced variability in sprout length. Across all species, north pole exposure produced stronger effects than south pole exposure. These findings demonstrate that static magnetic field treatment modulates germination kinetics and improves productivity and uniformity of legume sprouts, supporting its potential use as a chemical-free strategy for sustainable sprout production.
Chu Duc Ha Dong Huy Gioi La Viet Hong Le Huy Ham Le Duc Thao Bản quyền (c) 2026 Tạp chí Khoa học và Công nghệ Trường Đại học Hùng Vương https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-12-30 2025-12-30 11 4 89 99 10.59775/1859-3968.350 APPLICATION OF PLANT GROWTH-PROMOTING BACTERIA FOR SUSTAINABLE NGOC LINH GINSENG (Panax vietnamensis Ha et Grushv.)
